Hostel Giethoorn | The Black Sheep Hostel Location and Directions

With public transportation:

You can use this site to plan your train and bus trip: https://9292.nl/en - Please note that the last bus can leave quite early!
Fill in "Giethoorn Zuid" (bus stop) at "To" (and your starting point at "From"), and follow the directions.
After you get off at Giethoorn Zuid, walk north (the direction of Steenwijk).
Turn right at the parking lot of "Smit Giethoorn" (flanked by big red flags).
Turn left when you get to the small canal.
Cross the first bridge on your right; the reception is behind the second door on your left.

OV:

In de meeste gevallen zult u vanuit Steenwijk bus 70 nemen; stap uit bij halte Giethoorn Zuid.
Loop terug in de richting waar u vandaan kwam (noorden).
Ga naar rechts bij Smit (geflankeerd door rode vlaggen).
Bij de gracht aangekomen gaat u naar links.
Wij bevinden ons over het eerste bruggetje rechts (de receptie is achter de tweede deur links).

NB: De laatste bussen vertrekken vrij vroeg: u vindt op www.9292.nl de meest actuele tijden.

Fill in "Frensensteeg" on your navigation.
On the Frensensteeg*, you will cross a small bridge.
Follow the left-winding road.
We're at the second private road on the left (keep an eye out for the small sign).
The reception is behind the first door on the left side of the thatched-roof building.

*Don't be deterred by the "no cars allowed" sign in front of the Frensensteeg: the exception in Dutch below states that you are allowed to drive in.

Auto:

Voer "Frensensteeg" in op uw navigatie.
Op de Frensensteeg (u mag hier als bestemmingsverkeer inrijden) gaat u na het bruggetje met de weg mee naar links.
Neem de tweede oprit links (er staat een klein bord met "The Black Sheep Hostel") en parkeer uw auto waar plek is.
De receptie bevindt zich achter de eerste deur aan de linkerkant van het rietgedekte gebouw.
